The Durham Family | A Generational Family Session In Tampa, Florida

This multi-generational family shoot was filled with sweet candid moments! We had a great time with the whole Durham family. The Durham siblings have three little ones very close in age who provided the cuteness factor in these photos.

We got so many great photos and it was a blast to see the different personalities come out, especially in the cousins. Since they’re so young, they don’t hold back on the expressions. I loved all of the inquisitive looks and the sudden faces of excitement. I really enjoyed the challenge of trying to capture those priceless, adorable expressions in the act. Lincoln's face says it all, Mr. Mean Muggin’! Nothing seemed to faze him in the least!

A few favorite moments of the day included asking each couple individually to think back to their wedding day. Some cried, some hugged, some laughed, but all in all these stories provided beautiful, authentic photos! A family photo session should be more than just updating portraits – it should be about spending quality time together and making real memories. I wanted to give them stories to attach to these sweet pictures.

And can I just say, they did an amazing job of coordinating outfits for this session! I loved all of the pops of color and fun textures. Their clothes matched their fun personalities without overwhelming the photos. Beautiful! If you’re trying to coordinate outfits for you upcoming family session, this color pallet looks awesome, especially for an outdoor shoot with lots of rich natural tones in the background.

Is this the year for a family reunion? Family sessions are a great way to have fun together and preserve special moments. Mark your calendars and connect with me! I’d love to document the memories for you.
